Very long lunch wait and sadly they put mayo on my sandwich after I specifically requested it not be added. Too short on time to go back. D-

I love the Great Harvest Bread Co. so much, that while visiting Park City this past week, I ate there twice. I'm not sure if I should start with the delicious food or the friendly, welcoming staff. I returned for both reasons, but since most are looking for quality food, I will start there. I appreciate that the meals and food items are baked fresh daily, using such healthy, yet tasty, ingredients. Okay, maybe the desserts aren't totally healthy, but they are amazing! I highly recommend the Blueberry and Peach Fruit Bars (with fresh blueberries and large peach slices), the Carmel Pecan Cinnamon Rolls, and the yummy blueberry scones. I heard the raspberry scones are also excellent. From the sandwich menu, I was impressed with the bread selections (somewhere between 10 and 20 choices) and truly enjoyed the Classic Turkey on Honey Whole Wheat and the Grilled Liberty Park Turkey on 9 Grain Whole Wheat. The breads are made with freshly-milled whole grain wheat flour (a plus for nutritional value) and lunches also come with chips. I liked the option of half or whole sandwiches, although I selected whole and took the second half of the sandwiches for the next meal each time. As for the workers, they were very personable and enjoyable. I would specifically like to mention Erin and Abi, as they were so patient helping me make my choices and were absolutely delightful. I plan to return to Great Harvest on my next trip to Park City and would highly recommend it anyone who loves great breakfasts/lunches/desserts and excellent service.

The bread is really tasty, and the baked goods are acceptable. I wish they would step up the lunch offerings. The sandwiches are average and a little overpriced for what you get. I've tried several soups, but will not order anymore because they have all been bland and Luke warm. The service to get sandwiches can be pretty slow. The samples are big, as mentioned by others. We tried the challah bread last week and it was amazing. But for $7 dollars...

Great bread and pastries. Also makes sandwiches which I have not had as yet. Sells loaves sliced or not sliced. Usually has about 8 different loaves available on a rotating menu, all the ones I have had are wonderful. Pastries are mostly muffins, sweet breads, cookies and brownies. Coffee is decent!

We spotted The Great Harvest Bakery as we left the outlets on our first day in Park City and returned three times during the week. We were welcomed with a generous free sample of one of their fresh breads along with butter and/or honey...delicious! Since the sandwiches were so generous in size, our group of six learned after our first visit that each couple could easily share a full sized sandwich. The summit veggie (without cheese) was a great option for my vegan sister and the chicken salad sandwich was perfection. For dessert, we highly recommend the lemon bars, oatmeal chocolate chip cookies (they make excellent ice cream sandwiches) and mazurka bars...all delicious. We were less impressed with the s'mores bars, though. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the staff super friendly and accommodating. This place is a winner and we'll definitely come back next time we're in PC.

Opened this summer. Seemingly infinite parking. The strip-mall neighbors are a Staples, furniture store, and a Pier One Imports, with a ginormous Walmart Supercenter at the other end. Delicious, fresh bread and treats, and decent sandwiches, but service is slow and it's slightly overpriced for what you get. Yet another Park City restaurant that has a lot to love, but they charge a little much for what you get. The space feels very open with high ceilings and It's fun to watch the bakers working in the back. There is a large wood block displaying samples of their current bread and pasties selection. Typically there are four or five sample loafs laid out. They will lovingly cut you a hefty S.O.U.S. (sample of unusual size). All you have to do is ask. Sample condiments include butter and honey. Oh my. Unlike Scroogy McDucky nearby Kneaders Bakery, there is no "please take only one" sign for the samples. The samples are available as you wait in line, but line-waiting is a major problem: they always seemed understaffed or confused, adding a couple unnecessary minutes of wait time. You and the Great Harvest may feel like Linus and the Great Pumpkin. This is especially surprising since franchises usually emphasize efficiency over everything else. The upside is that there is more time to nosh on all the different samples. Bread: The bread really is quite good, and tastes very natural and fresh. They have a nice rotating selection so there is always something new to try. I found the website touting the wholesome simplicity of their bread to possess an uncomfortable ambiguity. They claim only five basic ingredients: "whole wheat flour, water, yeast, salt, and something sweet (usually a local honey)". But what to make of "something sweet"? The door is left open for anything from high fructose corn syrup to saccharine. Also, does the word "usually" refer to the sourcing of the honey or to the choice of sweeteners as a whole? It kind of makes you wonder. Cookies: I am addicted to the oatmeal raisin cookies. I came in for a fix and walked out with a belly full of samples and a mislabelled pack of chocolate chip cookies. The horror: Stay away from the chocolate chips ones since they taste like ear wax from an albino polar bear. Half price for a package of the day old cookies is usually worth it since it is difficult to resist eating them right away anyways. Scones: The scones are delectable and lean toward the dry side. Thus, a perfect coffee complement. But not the dreck coffee from Great Harvest. Try nearby Park City Roasters or even the nearby Starbucks to do your scone justice. Carrot Cake: The carrot cake is a barren, virtually carrotless effort with wedding cake frosting on top. I like mine to be chock full of autumn spice, rum-soaked raisins, roughly shredded carrot, and nuts smothered by a heavy shellac of plain cream-cheese frosting . I dream of a 'gold slice' rocket launch of flavors fueled by the intermingled gestalt of nutmeg, cardamon, cloves, and cinnamon. Sandwiches: Twice I have ordered the veggie sandwich and both times it was soggy. Every other sandwich is solidly good. But none of these sandwiches hold a candle to the ones served at nearby Leger's. Pro-tip: Ask for a sample not currently on display and they will start a new one from one of their packaged items just for you. Good, not great, harvest.

Best veggie sandwich, the Summit Veggie, I've had in a long time. It was crisp on nine grain bread and enough for two people to share. We really enjoyed our sample of pumpkin chocolate bread while waiting for our sandwich. Service and staff were great.

Don't know how anyone can give this place a bad review. They have the best bread of any other GH by far! The staff are so friendly. Yes it sometimes gets busy but seriously worth 3 extra minutes of your time.

They get you right as you walk in with a massive slice of their fresh baked bread which you can slather with butter and honey. It is delicious! Coffee was good and they make challah bread on Fridays only. They have a wide assortment of sandwiches and salads which we didn't try but the place was clean and the service friendly.

Great sandwiches and soup. I was in Park City on business and had to make a Staples run. This little bakery/restaurant is right next to it so I walked in. They have artisan bread baked daily. I ate a turkey cobb sandwich. Liked it so much went back there for lunch the next day and had their Italian wedding soup. At the beginning of the line - they offer you samples of their bread so you have an option to taste and select which bread you want for your sandwich or with your soup. Big, airy set up. Staff are friendly. Prices are right. I'd go back next trip for a soup and sandwich again.

My family loves Great Harvest and we have eaten at pretty much every location in the Salt Lake area and thus have certain expectations when we go. This was by far our worst experience at a GH. While the bread definitely met expectations the service and experience as a whole did not. They had a total of 8 people in there (that included our family of 4) and it took almost 20 to get our sandwiches. The peanut butter sandwiches we ordered for our small ones WITHOUT jelly came with jelly. It took another 15 minutes to get that corrected. The manager (or owner--not really sure which) came out and questioned whether we ordered correctly trying to assign the blame to us and not re-make the sandwiches and make a big to-do about it. They continued to be slow as we watched other customers come in and order and wait an unacceptable amount of time (in my opinion) for their food to come. Remember these are sandwiches--they don't need to be cooked...20 minutes is not an ok time frame to make sandwiches (when ordering any number less than 8 or 9). It was clean and looked nice. I will give them their due on that. The staff was not trained on much...the kid who helped us was nice but clueless. A full sandwich WILL feed 2 people. But for the prices they want for their food, I expect far better service. And to not get an owner/manager who cops an attitude with her customers because THEY screwed up.

Tucked away between Pier One Imports and Walmart, this Great Harvest Bread is filled with GOODNESS! The bread and baked goods are to die for. It also looks like they may have recently re-modeled because the cafe is immaculately bright and clean. The owner and staff are very friendly.

The missing star is only in regards to the slight overpricing, although maybe that is due to the PC location, I am not sure. Veggie sandwich on 9 grain was crisp, fat and delish. They had gluten free bread for my gluten free bro in law, big plus. The Savannah bar (I think that was what it was called?) was the best sweet treat ever. I will go back just for that. Raspberry, peach crumble bar. Mmmmm

Food is pretty good but the service is crazy slow. Always 5+ people working, and no one taking orders.

Really tasty fresh baked products - and free SAMPLES! Generously sized samples, I might add. Nice selection of baked goods at very fair prices. I recommend!

Clean, good people running this place, good sandwiches, soup doesn't taste homemade like the bread. Music is a good volume. I would agree with previous reviews- and we may be bias- we are from L.A. So our standards may be higher/ service is way too slow and they're not even busy.
